My friend Sherl and I don't get to see each other as often as
I would like but when we do it's as if we've never been apart and that is how I think good friends should be!
We have had many adventures in our time as friends and have a new one we are going to be taking together. We were asked to lead worship for the Nampa Women's Aglow and will start in September. That is one thing we both love to do together; sing...oh, and visit, and laugh, and shop, and eat...ok, I think you get my drift!! Friends, like us, love to do almost anything together. It makes life so much more fun!!

Summer's almost halfway over?!

I haven't posted for so long and feel as though time is flying by!! I have a new granddaughter, Abriella Colette Smith and she is a sweet adorable little thing!! Hopefully I will be a little better at posting and staying up to date on everything!!

My #1 Resolution for 2009!

I know many people who make resolutions every year and find that they can't keep them

or only keep them for a few months, weeks, and even days!!

My resolution for 2009 is one we all should have,

one that God has given us in His word!!

"You must love the Lord your God with all your heart,

and all your mind."

Goodbye 2008...Hello 2009!!

Happy New Year!!!

I love the start of something new...a fresh start...the beginning of something whether it's a new book, craft, play idea with my grandchildren.

Instead of just starting something new, though, I want to focus on things or habits I want to cease.

Stop talking and listen.

Stop reacting and respond.

Stop being bitter and forgive.

Stop judging and have grace.

May God fulfill the desires of your heart as you seek Him!

little Christmas in the BIG Woods...

Over the river and through the woods,

to Grandmother's house we go...

With all the family in their warm coats,

ready to play in the snow.

Icicles hanging to the ground,

and the snow continually falling down.

It was the best little Christmas

in the Big Woods, I know!!

Sweet Memories Made...

My sister Sheri and my two daughters, Amy, and Kimi and I spent the day in Boise and enjoyed the Nutcracker Ballet. As my sister is moving in a month to Texas, this was very special spending time together. This will be one of those moments we'll say "Remember the time when..."

Life changes...it's not always fun!! But God is good all the time!!

He gives us those moments in time we'll cherish always!!
